The mind of a St John of Kronstadt student is taught how to think, not what to think. We teach students how to be critical and lateral thinkers, curious problem solvers, creative and nurture
their leadership mindset.
Physical control of the body leads to a disciplined mind and soul. Students build bodily strength and control to help them develop the virtues of courage, temperance, and humility.
Shaping the loves of the soul on what is true, good and beautiful and loving the things that deserve our love and admiration.
The Primary academy currently includes Preparatory through to Grade four (with a grade added each year). The Academy introduces students to a traditional classical education, combined with the national curriculum. Our focus is Christ-centred, instilling wisdom and virtue in our students.
Prayer and liturgy is at the centre of Academy life. We begin and end each day in prayer and the Divine Liturgy is held each Wednesday morning. We pray throughout our day to keep our focus on Christ. The lives of the saints is read every morning, providing an example on how to live the Christian life.
Latin is not a dead language! Much of our English language derives from Latin. To master English, we lay a strong foundation in Latin. At the primary level, this begins with immersing students in latin chants, rhymes and songs and then later introducing them to language structure and grammar.
Shaping well-rounded future adults who are equipped to make a difference in society.
Our students are taught how to think critically and make wise and virtuous decisions.
Providing students with the skills, and the courage to speak and write persuasively.
We welcome donations. Whether you can give one time or annually,
each dollar helps ensure we not only grow and helps our students to thrive as saints in the world.
Support our future growth, so we can
create a better future for our students
